Games for Peace and the Elva Community Engagement organization have signed an agreement in which Games for Peace will participate as a consultant for the project “Promoting Mutual Trust and Interaction Amongst Youth through Online Gaming”, supported by EU/UNDP program Confidence Building Early Response Mechanism (COBERM).
The project aims to stimulate trust, understanding and interaction amongst youth in Caucasus region. Whilst playing children and youth will meet their peers across dividing lines virtually, share common interest and co-create their own peaceful world.
The project will include adaptations of Games for Peace’s Play2Talk and Play for Peace Weekend programs. As part of the training, Games for Peace personnel will hold a 2-days workshop in Tbilisi, Georgia to train youth center trainers with the adapted versions of the G4P Programs.
