Join us later this month, during the weekend of May 30th-31st, for a glorious battle in Team Fortress 2! Previous Play for Peace weekends were held in Minecraft, with over 100 players building a village together. It’s time to expand the game shelf and play some cooperative team-play games this month.

Team Fortress, by Valve, is a free-to-play first-person-shooter focused on team play. You may join in to either the Blue team or the Red team, selecting your favorite class and jumping straight into action. There are many classes in Team Fortress 2, designed to support each other and create a different experience for every game session.

The event starts Friday, May 30th at 14:00 Jerusalem time until Saturday at 24:00. The server IP addresses (and instructions on how to join us specifically!) will be posted in our facebook event page at that time.

But why wait? In the mean time, you can download Team Fortress 2 for free and start practicing right away. To download the game, visit the following link:

Team Fortress 2

And hit “Play Game” next to the “Free to Play” tag. You will be prompted to register and download Steam, an application market through which you play Team Fortress 2. To get started, in the game’s main menu, hit “Training” for a quick tutorial. Afterward, you may jump right into matches with real players.

Sign up here for the event.

Best of luck! See you there.
